VERY BERRY PROTEIN SMOOTHIE BOWL

MAKES 1 | GLUTEN FREE | VEGAN OPTION

INGREDIENTS

1.5 cups mixed frozen berries

2 frozen bananas

2 tbsp natural yoghurt or coconut yoghurt

1 tbsp preferred milk (I use almond)

2 scoops quality protein powder

Toppings

1/4 mango, sliced

50g papaya, sliced

1 tbsp natural peanut butter

1/4 cup GF granola of choice

1/4 cup blueberries or blackberries

1 tsp hemp seeds

1/2 tsp chia seeds

METHOD

Blend berries, bananas, yoghurt, milk and protein in a food processor or blender until smooth and thick. You may need to stop and start this process by scraping down the edges.

Transfer to a cold* serving bowl. Top with fruit, peanut butter, granola, berries and seeds. Eat and enjoy straight away!

*Prepare your fruit before making the smoothie mixture as it will melt. You can also chill your bowls in the freezer to prevent it melting quickly.

*For vegan use coconut yoghurt, plant-based milk and a plant-based protein powder.
